How to View Document Metadata

In Mekari Sign, you can view Document Metadata in the details of a document that has been created. This feature displays a list of custom fields filled in by the document creator and signers, along with the variable names and their values. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Documents menu.

  2. Click one of the “document names” that you want to view.

  3. Click the “Metadata” tab.

  4. The list of custom fields used in the document will appear as follows.

  5. You can delete the custom field by clicking “Actions” and then selecting Delete.

  6. You can also change the value of the custom field by clicking the “Actions” button and selecting Edit.

  7. Change the custom field value in the provided field and click “Save changes”.

  8. Any changes to the custom fields in the Metadata tab will be recorded in the Change history.
