As a signer, you can delegate uploaded documents to other parties such as lawyers or others so that the documents can be reviewed and signed by the relevant parties. Here are the steps.
Go to the Documents menu.
-
Select the document to be delegated then click the "Down Arrow".
Documents that can be delegated must have the status Need to sign. And documents can only be delegated to users registered in Mekari Sign.
Then select Delegate signing.
-
The following pop up will appear, then in this section, you can choose Internal user to select users registered in the User Management of the Mekari Sign account or choose External user for users outside Mekari Sign.
If you choose External user, you can share the document with people outside the company or users not registered on the User Management page. For example, sending documents to a client.
If you choose Internal user, select the user and enter the reason for delegating the document in the Reason field.
-
If you choose External user, enter the Email and Reason in the provided fields. Then click "Delegate".
When you as the initial signer have delegated the document to another user, you will still be involved in the document as a copy recipient.
The email received by the delegated user will look like this. And the user can sign or review the received document.
