Currently, you can easily view a summary of the main information in a document in a short time without needing to open it. With the Summary feature powered by AI, Mekari Sign provides an easy way for you to track key metrics, such as contract status, renewal dates, or document compliance, in real-time.

In this case, the Dashboard page will display deeper insights about your company's documents by combining and analyzing data extracted from all documents. Learn how it works in the following steps.

Important
- Users subscribed to the Business package and higher tiers will receive this by default.
- Users outside of these packages can purchase the Summary feature as an add-on.
- Anyone included in the document (even if not qualified) will see the document summary results after someone with access applies the Summary to the document.

  1. Go to the Documents menu.

  2. Click on one of the documents to view its detail page.

  3. Then, on the right side of the page, you will see the Summary. Click “Generate data summary” to process the document summary.

If you have not enabled AI, when you click “Generate data summary”, the following pop up information will appear. You can check it in the Settings menu under My Account or you can directly enable it by clicking “Enable” as shown below.

  4. Then the following pop up information will appear stating that your document is being summarized and will be ready within 24 hours. Click “Ok, I got it” to continue.

  5. Next, the following pop up notification will appear stating that your document is being summarized by our system. The summary information of your document being processed will also appear on the right side of the page.

  6. Then the document that has been successfully summarized will look like the following.

If the document is tracked as a contract, then the summary can also be viewed on the Contract page.

  7. If you are the Document maker (document creator), you can modify the summary results by clicking the “Actions” button and then selecting Edit.

You can also click “Export” to export the summary in .csv format, as in the following example.

  8. Then click “Save changes”.

  9. Then the following pop up notification will appear stating that your Document Summary has been successfully edited.
